Mini Darien blurb. I'll probably end up redrawing him at some point when I have motivation. For now though, we get this. Reader's gender is not specified.

"Mini Thresh in the house!" Someone called, and Darien glanced up at the mention of his last name. He grinned a little as he watched you, one of the media managers, who was always willing to watch his daughter, pick her up, supporting Danny as she stood on the boards.
"Daddy!" Danny grinned, Darien chuckling as he skated over. Before he could pick her up, one of his teammates swooped in, his daughter giggling the whole time as Peyton spun her. Darien just shook his head, chuckling as he leaned against the board next to you.
"Got a little restless, huh?" He asked, eyes locked on Danny as she was passed from teammate to teammate, each of the boys treating her with care but messing around and playing with her.
"Was getting frustrated with an edit," you replied, and Darien glanced over, letting his eyes linger a second longer before he was looking back at his team. "Figured she might wanna come see you and the boys."
Darien grinned, shrugging as he watched someone hold the 5 year old up in the air. "She's good at getting our spirits up, that's for sure," he hummed, smiling softly.
"Hope she isn't too distracting," you laughed, resting your elbows against the boards as you leaned forward, eyes tracking the team alongside him.
"Daddy, look! I'm flying!" Danny giggled, laughing as Peyton held her in the air, making airplane noises as he skated over. Darien laughed, holding out his arms and taking her from his teammate, doing a little spin for effect.
"Woah there, little quick on that landing," he grinned, holding the little girl against his hip. She just giggled, wrapping her arms around his neck as she started rambling about the stuff she got to do with the media team.
As his daughter talked, Darien just smiled, nodding along as he listened. He could very easily tell her that she could tell him all of it later after practice, but he didn't mind. She was his light and life, and even in the middle of morning skate, he would find time for her.
"Alright, mini Thresh," you interrupted, recognizing that the captain wasn't going to put an end to the little girls rambling. "Let's go get some snacks from the vending machine, yeah?"
Danny's smile widened, nodding as she wiggled, trying to get out of her dads grasp. Darien chuckled, setting her on the boards, keeping her supported as you reached up, taking her from him and putting her down.
"Don't trip on the way there, kömpelö," he teased, and you waved him off, following after the younger, bumping into the bench, and causing you to stumble.
You were tempted to look back and flip him off for calling you clumsy right before you almost tripped, but didn't once you saw his grin. Darien offered a salute, before he too was turning, heading back to practice.
You just huffed, turning to jog after the 5 year old who was already on her way like she owned the place.
