Headcanon Meme - Platonic Jane and Felix

Who’s The Messiest One: Jane, undoubtedly. While she isn’t always disorganized she seems to misplace things a bit more than Felix and whenever he goes into her room there’s always things on the floor and bed, from stuffed toys to books with the occasional pile of clothes strewn in between.

Who Feels The Most Uncomfortable About PDA: Felix. Due to his quiet nature he doesn’t exactly see the fun in making out with someone against a wall in public; whenever anything more than holding hands happens he looks the other way and pretends not to hear or see a thing.

Who’s The Funniest Drunk: Both of them. They both really let their hair down whenever they get drunk together; they’ve had to be pulled off tables more than once (or thrice) but they always have a good time. And the blackmail material they see later always gets a laugh.

Who Texts The Most: Jane. While she isn’t constantly on her phone she does like to keep in contact with a lot of people, particularly her family and friends. Felix prefers face-to-face conversations where he can read the other person’s facial expressions and know whenever he’s saying something “weird” again.

Who Has The Most Embarrassing Taste in Music: Felix. The MP3 player he has (who knows where from) is filled to the brim with a very odd mix of classical music, Evanescence and screamo, both of which he would rather diethan let anyone knows he listens to. (Another personal headcanon is that Jane has seen the songs on his iPod and to poke fun at him she bought him a Linkin Park CD. He loves it but won’t say so - would ruin his image, y’know.)

Who Reads The Most: Jane does. Felix doesn’t see the point in books, not really: why would you want to read about an adventure when you could live one? But he has to admit he likes listening to the sound of pages turning whenever Jane has a book in hand. And if she starts reading aloud he’ll scoot his chair just a bit closer to listen.

Who’s Better With Kids: Both of them are very good with kids but in very different ways. Jane is all about getting the kids to follow rules and to behave while Felix is more about rebellion and letting the kids test the limits of those rules. The two of them manage to make a pretty good middle-ground after a few dozen arguments about why the kids just cannot go wandering off through the woods, making them both the best with kids.

Who’s The One Who Fixes Things Around the House: Again, I gotta say both of them. Jane isn’t the type of girl who would let Felix do everything - she’d definitely try to help as best she could. Felix is usually very grateful for it, especially when it comes to the things he still doesn’t quite get (water pipes? How does that even work?) The two of them make a pretty good team and they keep their shared home in tip-top shape together.

Who’s Got The Weirdest Hobby: You can take the boy off of the Island but you can’t uninstall the desire to hunt and make clothes out of animal skins from him. Felix can’t help that old habits die hard, especially as winter rolls around: animal pelts are much warmer than anything the people here could make anyway.

Who Cooks and Who Cleans Up: They alternate this chore between themselves every day. One day Felix cooks and Jane cleans; the next day Felix is cleaning and Jane is cooking. It’s a good rotation for them both and it provides plenty of time for changes in menu (thanks to Felix’s hobby the two of them always have plenty of fresh meat, though not always the kind you want to eat).

It's a near-silent request, one Felix hoped won't be answered by the girl sitting across from him in this small, crowded space. He wouldn't begrudge her if she ignored him; after all he had done, after this...thing with Pan, he felt like he didn't deserve her kindness.
