Huntsmen on missions around Vale start to get killed in action, even the ones on non-Grimm missions. The Academy starts to question the locals, and they all say the same thing: flashes of red and the gleam of a large blade. It’s not a Grimm - no, the Grimm avoid this killer. They’re never around when the Huntsmen are killed, and on the off chance they are, they become ash before they even have the chance to attack.
With her cape covering her face, Ruby Rose walks the streets of Vale freely. Sure, the authorities might be looking for a killer in red, but why would they ever consider her a suspect? An innocent 15 year old girl with eyes like full moons. Wanted posters start going up on light posts, in shops, stuffed under doors - offering a reward for any information leading to the capture of a new criminal dubbed The Red Wolf. She’ll show her face one day when she’s known throughout all of Remnant. And when she’s finally the best huntress in the world, those Academy headmasters who rejected her will fall to their knees.
