Welcome to the Writing in the Dark Bingo!

This is an event for writers to sign-up without pressure or deadline. Instead, for anyone who completes a line or a card, we will be creating monthly masterlists to link to their works, be them drabbles, fics, or series installments.

For this bingo, we will primarily accept dark!MCU works but we are open to other fandoms that include MCU actors as well. If you’re curious, just ask and we will let you know! You can send us an ask here or message either @darkficsyouneveraskedfor or @harper-emory-writes.

The goal is to finish a line, a box, four corners, or the whole card, whether it’s in a series of works or within a single piece. How you use your prompts is entirely within your prerogative. You do not have to use the same character for the card but sometimes it’s a good challenge to set for yourself. Again, how you choose to use your card is entirely up to you. This is about inspiration!

Here is how to use your card!

As this is a dark!writing event, please keep in mind, that prompts and works may include violence, blood, death, trauma, dubcon, noncon/rape, and other triggering elements. To be fair to each other, please include warnings on all submissions. We retain the right not to reblog any works we feel go against good faith or do not provide adequate warnings.

If you are interested in receiving your own bingo card for this ongoing event, you can sign up here! Cards will include tropes, kinks, and aus, and all will be randomized. (In the form, you can include anything you’re not comfortable with so that we may provide you with an appropriate bingo card). We will limit each writer to one card per month (however, don’t be afraid to approach us for a redo if you are struggling. This event is to help creativity, not stymy it.) But keep in mind, we are not accepting incest, underage, or bestiality.

To submit your work to us, please tag this blog and in each work and send in a submission with the links to each work that completes your line, card, etc. and we will share them as well as include them on the monthly masterlist.

As well, we are open to suggestions to keep the bingo fresh, so if you have any ideas you think we can include for future cards, please feel free to submit those as well. Please keep them short as they will need to fit within a bingo cube. For example, we have ideas such as “mistaken identity” or kinks like “spanking” or aus such as “stripper au”. We would limit your suggestions to five word sentences at most.
