Summary= You decide to have a little celebration with your cat for your exam results. But you also have a secret admirer who wants to celebrate your success.
-(Dark) Vlad Dracula x Reader-
As usual, he watches from the dark shadows of the room.
Today was a wonderful day. You were happy, therefore he was happy too. Finally, your exams were over, you had reaped the rewards of your hard work.
Sitting at your computer, you shouted with joy when you saw that you had passed your last exam.
With a small but sincere smile on his face, and admiration in his eyes, he watched you. He was proud of you. He always believed you would succeed.
"My beautiful, intelligent love.."
In the midst of your little dance of joy, you heard a whisper. A shiver ran through your body.
Even though you knew there was no one in your room, you looked around. Since your apartment was on the 3rd floor, no one could have come in from outside.
Because you'd been working so much lately, you decided to ignore it, thinking your mind was playing tricks on you.
Seeing your unease, he inwardly reprimanded himself.
He should have been more careful. He couldn't face you yet. At least not now, and not in this way.
Even if he couldn't show himself to you yet, he could still leave a small gift to congratulate you.
Before disappearing into the shadows, he looked at you one last time tonight with longing eyes.

You decided to celebrate this small achievement for mankind, but a big one for you, by watching TV and eating chips with your cat Timmy.
Finally, after grabbing a bowl of popcorn, you sat down next to your cat, who was purring impatiently.
You placed the bowl on the table with the other snacks and picked up your cat.
"Are you ready, baby? I'm starting the movie."
He purred contentedly towards your hand stroking his chin, and meowed in approval. You smiled at him.
You reached for the remote when the doorbell rang.
Sighing deeply in disappointment, you put Timmy back on the couch. “Who could it be at this hour, for god's sake!”
When you were wondering who it could be, you didn't expect to find no one there. But there was something waiting for you right in front of the door.
In a pot, a beautifully wrapped purple orchid.
Blinking in surprise, you looked around, wondering if whoever it was was still nearby.
When you realized no one was there, you carefully picked up the pot and took it inside. Timmy, who was still waiting for you on the couch with a bored look on his face, lit up when he saw you coming with something in your hand.
With his large yellow eyes glowing in the dark, he is meowed as he is came to your side. After sniffing the pot and then the flower, he meowed in disappointment.
“I guess this is for me, baby.” You chuckled and stroked his little black head.
As he turned around and headed back toward the couch, you decided to unwrap the package. As you gently untangled the thin strings, you noticed a small white card on the edge of the pot.
Written on it in dark red was “to my beautiful angel...”
You furrowed your brow with curiosity and opened the card. You read what was written inside in the same red tone and elegant handwriting.
I love you from afar.
Without holding your hand,
Without touching your heart,
Without getting lost in your eyes..
In spite of these fleeting loves,
I love you like a man, not like a vagabond..
Your heart started pounding uncontrollably, and a wave of excitement coursed through your body. Your hands trembling, you continued reading.
I love you from afar.
Every word I want to say to you,
I love by breaking them apart on my tongue.
As my words drip drop by drop,
I love on innocent white paper..
You were breathless when you finished.
It just said "V.D" underneath. You were genuinely curious about who had written those beautiful lines.
You hadn't been in a relationship with any man, you weren't even in love with anyone. Besides your classmates at school, you didn't even have a real friend. Your only friend was Timmy.
It was interesting that someone was interested in you. Maybe you were so focused on your studies that you didn't pay attention to your surroundings.
Or maybe whoever this person was, they were just too secretive and shy.
Perhaps you should have been afraid, but you weren't.
You always thought: 'No harm can come from someone who loves poetry, animals, and flowers.'
Moreover, this didn't bother you at all. On the contrary, you liked it.
You took the beautiful purple orchid and placed it on the kitchen table, which didn't get much sunlight.
You ran your fingers over the delicate leaves, then bent down and smelled them.
With a smile on your face, you returned to Timmy's side to continue the night.

(I enjoy reading poetry. If you do too, I recommend this poem; it's very beautiful. All these color schemes are just small, insignificant details. But I think Vlad is that kind of man. A gentleman who loves poetry and flowers. To the friend who requested part 2, I apologize for the delay. And I hope you all enjoy it ♡)

- Vlad Dracula x Reader -
He looked at the woman he loved, sleeping peacefully in her bed, unaware of everything.
She had slept later than usual that night.
His beautiful angel was working hard. She was a senior in college and struggling with exam stress.
He bent down beside the bed and looked at her fingers, worn from holding a pen. He sighed sadly.
He was proud of her for having goals and striving to achieve them.
He was happy that she could stand on her own feet without needing anyone.
He was in love with this strong, hardworking, intelligent and perfectly perfect woman.
But it wasn't good for her to be so hard on herself and forget to rest while focusing on her studies.
When he left her alone, she would either fall asleep at the table or try to stay awake by drinking coffee until morning.
Because he couldn't stand seeing her like this, he would add a small amount of sleeping pills to her coffee cup.
Normally, his methods of neutralizing people were harsher. But she wasn't just anyone. She was the only person who mattered to him in his worthless life.
She was his beautiful angel who didn't even know he existed.
So he used this more humane and completely painless method. Before she could finish her first glass, her head would fall onto the table and she would fall asleep.
He would gently pick her up and lay her down on the bed.
He reached for her hand, trembling, with tears of devotion in his eyes. He began to gently massage the spot he knew hurt.
He tried not to touch her unless necessary. He didn't want to know how she would feel if she knew he'd touched her without her permission.
If she knew that a man she didn't know was sneaking into her room every night and watching her, she would think he was a disgusting pervert.
A shiver ran through his body at the thought. He looked at the small, soft hand in his palm.
Unable to stop himself, he leaned down and gently kissed each of her fingers. A tear fell from his closed eyes and touched the girl's hand, causing his to flinch.
Frowning, he quickly but carefully wiped her hand away.
He couldn't help himself. He shouldn't have infect her with his disgusting nature.
He slowly let go of her hand and stood, covering her with the blanket.
Momentarily distracted, he leaned toward her face. He looked longingly at the beautiful face of the girl who was sleeping peacefully with her mouth slightly open.
He smiled with intense devotion and passion in his eyes. Then, muttering softly, he vanished into the night.
