Last batch of unfinished drawings, the Dark Faerie ones were going to be colored, but I changed my mind about how to present one and the amount of detail I want in another (the Photo I referenced for the second pic was of the Mitford Sisters of Take Six Sisters). The three Child of Light monsters, again, were going to be colored, but I changed my mind about some aspects of them.

Still wanted to show them off because I do genuinely like them.

Dark Faerie Wings

The Dark faeries have long since been the opposing force to everything the more benign faeries stand for. Because of this their visage has now been darkened by their very deeds, every new evil act adding another stain to their once beautifully coloured wings.

It is possible to read the patterns on a faeries wings by a select few individuals, but it is often said that the brighter the colours the more good deeds the faerie has done, while darker colours indicate that they have partaken in more darker acts toward another.

For this reason it is advised to be wary of those faeries with dark wings, and if at all possible  avoided them completely lest you become a source of “amusement” to them.

Going back to my Dark Faeries land for one illustration. It was a long time without doing a painting like this, in black and white... And i really missed it...
