Darcy was so cool as a concept.

Possession stories are cool!.... When done right.

And she had a *sick* aestetic.

But in practice it was really just a way to:

1. Make Andrias Feel Bad

2. Get parallels with Sasha for the final battle

3. Get Marcy out of the picture and punish her.

The core had three forms and we really hasn't seen it using Marcy for anything except messing with people a little. Like, it managed to predict Anne and Sasha's tactical plan because it had acess to the memories of Marcy's favorite movie but outside of that? Possessing Marcy nerfed it.

Its movements were wobbly, it had a very obvious weakness with the chord connecting it to the helmet and it started taking interests in stuff Marcy liked, which made it look less scary instead of more.

And its taunting Anne and Sasha were so lukewarm. You have a hivemind monster using the body of their best friend - you should take the knife and twist it.

Also, it barely got screentime. It barely had time to display how much of a threat it is, it didn't get to be scary or cunning enough.

But like, they core didn't use Marcy as a host to get more powerful, it did it because it wanted acess to her genius intellect.... Which it never got. Because Marcy refused to join it and it apperenatly depended on her consent (maybe you should have thought about that BEFORE violating her body and mind???)

It's finally done! An animatic based off of Marcy’s mental state in my fanfic, 'Ur Type'!

Explaining it in the story is not enough. I’d like my readers to understand what was going on in Marcy’s head... why did she do the thing she did in the story. And what better way to showcase it than getting the help of my Korean friend, 후의, who is such a huge fan of Marcy! I directed the whole thing, telling him the scenes that I want to show, and he drew and did the animatic all on his own. And he did an incredibly amazing job! Really well done in bringing my ideas to life!
