hi hello razputin

how are you today?? any miscellaneous thoughts esp on dark!Doctor??

me personally I'm thinking about a dark!Doctor that is like a force of nature even more than the Doctor we know. Leveling cities cuz he didn't like how they looked. saving a planet cuz he liked the ice cream there, once. and then destroying it himself because he doesn't like it anymore, he's realized.

The ice cream thing? Yeah. Yeah, Dark!Ten liked it once but he doesn't do frivolous things much so the next time he went there and the owners had changed hands- he realised they'd changed the recipe and he didn't like it any more and so the next time the city called on him for protection he showed up to orbit the city from above and watch as it was absolutely obliterated with a warm coffee in his hand.

Dark!Eleven broke someone's arm just for grazing your side as they walked past you. They'd apologised and everything, but in the bare moments between their touching you and their apology, the offending arm was broken and Eleven was hauling you away, jaw set and eyes blazing.

Dark!Twelve has a penchant for showing you off like something to be bought only to come down on those who seem interested like a hurricane. He's cocky and he likes to show off, but he can turn at the flip of a switch and raze through a crowd like no one's business. He puts you on a pedestal though. He's obsessed with you.

I have traveled the universe. I have seen impossible things; things that would turn imagination mad. And yet here on Earth is where my wings have been scorched off. My greatest mistake was always seeing mankind for what it could be. I was always blind to their cruelty because I could see such great potential. I always believed their best would prevail. I saw Man for all the wonder and goodness they were capable of and never for what they were. It was they who cured me of my blindness. I see them for what they are: feral, self-serving, cowardly beasts. They would devour the galaxy and use me as a shield. They were so pleased with themselves. They, the ones who called themselves my friends, they were so pleased to rid me of that problematic mercy that stayed my hand. Everyone got what they ultimately wanted. UNIT saved the Earth, Humanity survived another day, Clara got her revenge… Everyone got what they wanted and went home without a care in the world and I, I got to live with it. I alone had to live with what I’d done. I know what I have become. I am all too aware of it in my new state. Out of mercy I will leave humanity to its own devices. Not mercy for Earth, never again, but mercy for the universe. Let them destroy themselves or be conquered I no longer care. They have ripped out and burned that part of me which held such notions. They wanted me heartless. Well, here I am the cold heartless monster they created. I am the creature that can arbitrarily decide right from wrong. And so I pass sentence over planet Earth, you have been judged and you have been found lacking. Never again. Never again will I heed Earth’s cries for help. Never again will I interfere in your fate. Never again will I harm another being to save your existence. You are alone, defenseless in the dark and I can’t say I wish you well. I am what you have made me. Not good, not evil… I am heartless.
