You guys got married?! I know I haven't been around much, but I can't believe I missed that! Congratulations to you both! I know you'll continue to be as happy together as you are now. :)

We did get married! We didn’t actually mention it on tumblr beforehand, so you didn’t miss anything. We’d been planning a low-key thing for a while, but it kept getting postponed for this reason or that reason. Finally we decided to just do it, made the appointment at the courthouse, and it was wonderful! <3

ALSO I meant to tell you, I was back in Stratford last month and we coincidentally went to the Fourteas, and it was AMAZING. We both bought tea. Although they sang Happy Birthday THREE TIMES for people, which was...fun. :D

The fuck is up with the weather that I’m in *Scotland* and our last snowfall was in *November* (and not very heavy at that)? O.o

I live in the southern US not far from the coast and snow is a rare treat. We can go years without more than flurries.  We’ve been lucky the past couple years with snow, but I’m not holding my breath.

Awww thanks, I’m so glad it’s one of your favorites!!  You’re awesome. And man.  I’ve already received such an embarrassment of riches on this story! It kind of broke me, a bit, because now the only time I really hope for kudos is in that needy first-24-hours-after-posting-something-new.

Ooh, ooh, I didn’t know she had a new one out, AWESOME. *____* (I wrote one of my favourite and best-graded uni essays using Gender Trouble in 2010, so she always has a soft spot in my heart.)

This is actually 2004, I think! But I think even now it’s eclipsed by Gender Trouble. I’m finding it a lot easier to read, and it’s addressing a lot of points that Gender Trouble didn’t - or that people have used Gender Trouble to interpret negatively.
