The wedding is over, so now it’s time to jump back into cosplay!! I was going to keep this costume a surprise, but I’m too excited. I don’t want to anymore 😜 I’m currently working on Kira from The Dark Crystal! I want to look as much like a puppet as possible, so I’m actually making a mask that will move when I talk. It’s probably going to be real creepy and hang out in that uncanny valley just like the movie! I’m so thrilled. I made a mold of my face (a horrifying and claustrophobic experience), cast my face in plaster, and then made a mold of the face cast with silicone. This is going to be cast in resin later.
