“ I’ve done nothing wrong. Except all the atrocities. Besides that, I’m innocent. ”
"Stop talking, the only reason you're still alive is because the horse likes you."
Being a prisoner on the Sunny may actually be worse than death, if one takes the crew's regular insanity into account.
"He's ours now by the way. Luffy said we could keep him." In case that wasn't obvious by the way Kaku wasn't tied up and was instead being, whether he liked it or not, given the grand tour of the Sunny by Franky and Luffy. "But don't forget – he's crew now. You're just a guest."

They were all hurt, but Lucci was the worst of it.
Kalifa normally didn’t smoke, she preferred drinks as her vice when they were able to be relaxed, but this was her second cigarette of the day. Lucci was still in recovery, the doctors had finished their surgery on him but he was still heavily medicated. It took more to keep him under due to his Zoan fruit which meant that it would take him a little longer to wake up. Because of the large group they were only allowed two in at a time, and her turn was last with Kaku. He was sitting at the door to the hospital while she had stepped aside to smoke.
They had been doing odd jobs in the town to get the money for his surgery, and it felt odd for her to have been part of the community without being under orders. Even then she had purposefully taken the less active role, being the closet to their target but even then, she wasn’t close enough to gain their true target. After a fight that lasted from Water 7 all the way to Enies’ Lobby they were now taking the blame for the failed Buster Call. So she felt she earned a few cigarettes from all of that mess that they were still going to be dealing with.
Jabra called out that it was there turn and she and Kaku went in, Kalifa stubbing out the half-smoked cigarette as she entered the doors. The hospital was small, and Lucci was the only current patient. It was odd to see him so still and with the wrappings it almost seemed like he was a normal man instead of one of the strongest CP members. Sitting at his side Kalifa gently laid a hand on the bed near him, they were friends but she didn’t want to startle him awake if it was possible. “Lucci, are you going to wake up anytime soon?” She asked gently, not sure if he would answer

The storm was ruthless as the waves were rising and crashing down against the top of the ocean’s surface. Taking anything that was in its path down in the great depths below. Sedna was sitting on the edge of a rocky cliff just above a great dark underwater canyon that was way below the surface. She had been watching the tiny ships roughly her size capsizing and sinking to the ocean depths. Humans were drowning as the wooden ships were sinking faster than they would be able to escape. The pressure at this length was a lot for a normal human to withstand, but something caught her eye. A ship that was sinking, it appeared there was still a human left alive that was struggling to free themselves from the mast. It was rare to find a human that was able to withstand the pressure, but even more with how quickly he was sinking under the water.
Sedna sighed softly before pushing herself up from her seat and with a couple flicks of her tail, she was quickly over the sunken ship that was going into the canyon. Reaching down carefully, to grab the human in her hand, she was able to break the rope from the mast and sails before it sank even further. The storm was still raging up at the surface, but the large mermaid knew that he would need air. Without wasting any more time, she held the man close to her chest using her hands to shield him from the sudden pressure change as she broke the surface. The mermaid had built up enough speed to break through the surface of the waves and make it to a calm spot. The thunder roared nearby as the lightning was crackling in the clouds.
The human was held tightly to her chest to help protect him from the waves. He looked like a tiny doll in her hands, but it appeared he might have passed out from the lack of oxygen. Looking around, she noticed an island in the far-off distance, so she hurried through the rough waves the best she could without him being shaken up badly. By the time the storm had settled down, it was late into the night as the moon and stars were out.
The mermaid had laid him down on a cliffside of the island as she was still deep enough in the water she would not be stuck, but she needed to climb the rocks a bit as it was higher up. Senda had sat the male on the ground and rolled him to his side so he would be able to cough up any water that was inside his lungs. Even if he was passed out his body would unconsciously do stuff to help it survive. After a while, when she knew it would be safe to lay him on his back, she studied his appearance as she had never seen someone like him before.
The merfolk decided to wait to see if he would wake up even after hours had passed, she hummed and sang to herself softly as she sat on the cliffside waiting. Sedna had gathered plenty of stuff to clean up and work on from shipwrecks that occurred often in this area. It was very dangerous, especially with all the sea monsters that lived at the bottom of the underwater canyon. The ravenette paused her singing once she heard some rustling coming from the human which meant that he was finally awake. Peeking barely over the rocks, she watched him before speaking in a soft voice, “Be careful, your body might be broken in places from the shipwreck.” The clouds were blocking the moon a bit so there was not a lot of light nearby, so she hoped that he would not notice her right away.
"ROBIN-CHAN!" sanji shouts as blueno holds her at the door. his body is screaming at him to stop, the blows from the CP9 members taking their toll on his body. he grinds his teeth together, struggling to get off the floor of the car. "r-robin-chan, not like this --" he manages to get a foot anchored, and as the door starts to close, sanji charges foward. he kicks his foot out, careful with his aim, not wanting to accidentally hit her. blueno pulls her out of the way as sanji kicks into the car the other members of cipher pol reside.
he shoots forward, not sticking the landing, his body off-balance from missing the impact. the cook curses as he trips over himself, rolling forward into the wall. he slams against it, grunting in pain. fuck, he's definitely at his limit. he cannot give up, though; he has to continue for robin. he promised luffy that he would raise hell. sanji breathes harshly as he gets up on a knee, eyes scanning the room. he looks from blueno and robin, to kaku, to kalifa, and finally stop at rob lucci. he grinds his teeth together tightly, hands clenched. blood trickles down his face. "let her go, you shitty bastards!" he shouts, and he manages to push himself up, running forward, going to strike blueno again. he's not solid on his feet, though, clearly fighting through a lot of pain. he jumps into the air, foot soaring in blueno's direction... / @darkestjustice
