For a moment Ryoken felt silent, surprised about the sudden honesty from the younger one. It wasn’t something he had expected the other one to outright saying like that, even less to someone like him, even though... he was aware of the fact that the bond they have were something special, even though Ryoken refused to accept it as something close to friendship or anything that alike. Did he care about the younger one? Yes. But that was mostly because of the guilt he was carrying on his shoulder and nothing else. At least as far as he was concerned.
And yet...
