darkkingloki followed you!
It was late at night, and Sigyn really knew she had to be in bed already. She had to get up in five house to go to work at the day care. But she couldn't help it. The nightmares had been getting worse, and the only thing that seemed to help was walking around the town at night until she was too exhausted to climb the stairs up to her apartment.
Tonight, was no different than any other night. Clutching her jacket closer to her, she kept a simple pace, not too fast that she was powerwalking, but not too slow that she was dragging her feet.
A sudden chill went down her spine, and the hair on the back of her neck stood up. She paused in her steps to look behind her, but there was nothing. Hesitant in resuming her steps, Sigyn continued on her way, feeling the tiredness that she so desired seep into her bones. She had just decided to turn back to go home when the chill went down her spine again. It was as if someone was watching her. Casting a wary look around her, she changed direction and crossed the street. She could still feel the eyes, however, and so she turned down an alleyway, darkness covering her form as the buildings blockled the glow of the streetlights.
The blonde strained her ears trying to hear something over her pounding heart and hurred footsteps.
Yes, there was a second set following her.
Increasing her pace, Sigyn began running, her progress impeded by the trash and other obstacles that laid in her path. She saw the light ahead of her, and her pace increased, her heart feeling like it was going to burst out of her chest. She was almost safe. When she got to the end of the alley, however, she slammed into the chainlink fence in despair. It was a deadend for her, and she whirled around, fear clutching her heart. "Who-who's there?!" she called out frightfully.
