The result of their last meeting was...less than satisfactory. Leaving without the nuisance of a kid in tow or as an ally left Mark seething in anger. Were all the kids at that damned academy this smart?
Typically he prided himself on his intelligence and quick wit but he seemed almost matched with the boy... If Yuuei was just as smart, he would surely have trouble getting anywhere near Himei...
The past few days had been spent using the other side of his quirk. Mark had kept an eye on the household while disguised as individuals he had seen walk down the street just minutes before he did.
It was a struggle to not ruin his cover and start laughing the first time he watched Rin’s eyes dart back and forth, checking every piece of trash or debris. By the time the third day rolled around, it began to get old but still served useful. Mark had already seen quite a bit of the boy’s quirk and it certainly proved to be useful information.
Approaching him as he walked down the sidewalk, Mark no longer had his normal appearance and had traded it for older woman’s who had been kind enough to walk by just moments ago.
“Excuse me, are you alright? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
