(It's been 13 months since my last actual game post!)
I have been very busy with life... Working, building a house (not literally, I'm paying someone to do that!), and spending time with my family and friends, especially my Grandma and nephew. But not studying! I finished my (second) Masters degree in May!
In the little Simming time I have had, I've been rebuilding my DL folder, and it's taking forever. Mainly because I'm editing the price and catalogue placement of almost everything I'm adding to the game, and then adding each individual piece to collection files as I add them in game!
I did, however, spend almost the entire day today Simming! Well, neighborhood decorating.
This is Tamryth, my Elder Scrolls inspired neighborhood.
Myrthspire, the first image, is the main 'hood. this is the Royal Court, home to all races, and will be played WRC style.
The four sub 'hood will be played Crown of Laurels style.
Farhollow, the second image, is the forest province, and home to Nords and Bosmer. They will specialise in lumber, acorn-fed swine, game hunting and foraging.
Earthdrift, the third image, is the plains province, and home to Breton and Altmer. They will specialise in vegetables, honey, wax candles, sheep and weaving.
Brittleshore, the fourth image, is the coastal province, and home to Redguard and Dunmer. They will specialise in salt works, fishing, basketry, poultry and tea
Darkmont, the fifth and sixth image, is the mountain province and home to Imperials and Snow Elves. They will specialise in mining, blacksmithing, goats and cheese making.
I will also include an ocean sub 'hood (Pandemonium Sea), a uni 'hood, a Downtown (Oblivion), and three vacation 'hoods (based off Elsweyr, Orsinium & Black Marsh).
The aim will be an integrated neighborhood using the Sun & Moon sets. I will have four caravans of Khajiit, who will trade between the main 'hood and the sub 'hoods. Some items, such as sugar, coffee, cacoa, and exotic herbs/crops will need to be gained by merchants traveling to the vacation 'hoods.
This is an epic project, and I can't really get my teeth into it until I have done the DL folder. I have finished all the lots for Farhollow (although I need to rebuild the castle onto a smaller lot), and a handful of lots for Myrthspire.
It's got a long way to go, but it was so nice to spend some time working on it today!
