Cold

For the cold winters only get colder— Winter consumes everything

Nothing isn’t caught in its icy snare when it comes around

There’s a beauty to its violent existence

they say they want to help. They look at me with kind eyes and soft hearts— but do they really want to help? I know they’ll judge me. I know they’ll think I’m dumb and useless. Because no one ever really wants to help. Not me, not ever. So of fear I run from them. Run from the help. And out of that fear of being judged and laughed at— I’m punished. Punished because I didn’t get help. I made myself look stupid. But I never learn.
