ONE YEAR LATER: Jonathan Huber better known as Luke Harper from the WWE but also known as Brodie Lee from almost every wrestling promotions he's been in especially in AEW passed away last year on this very day. Not a day goes by we as wrestling fans don't think about the late great Brodie Lee, a husband, a father & a friend to all of his brothers in wrestling no matter what promotions he's been in. Friends to Lovers ~ Darby Allin

Part 1

•You met Darby at catering right before the tapings of Dynamite.

•You were both standing in line looking at all the food and he must've seen that you weren't the biggest fan of anything that you saw.

•"If you don't eat it, it will slowly but surely eat you." He said. You didn't know that he normally never talked to strangers.

•You just had to smile.

•"Just a matter of time." He smiled. You didn't know that he normally didn't smile very often.

•You introduced each other and you thought Darby was such a badass name.

•It seemed like you clicked instantly first it was just looks you gave each other. Inside jokes only you could understand. Then fast forward a short time you always sat together at catering and also hung around together after the shows.

• Darby soon became the first person you texted in the morning and the last one you said goodnight to in the evening.

•It was weird, it was like as soon as you had met that an instant unknown glue kept you together. You never questioned it and neither did he. You were always waiting for him behind the curtain when he had a match and so was he.

•One day after one of his matches you two were walking down the hall, he was fully covered in sweat and his face paint had melted all over his face. He was laughing and had one arm thrown around your shoulder, he carried his skateboard in the other one.

•Suddenly you heard a despicable laugh that could only belong to one person...MJF. He stood there in the hallway with his suit and scarf. He was clapping and had an sarcastic grin on his face.

•"Aren't you guys the cutest little couple.", arrogance was dripping off of every of his words, "Maybe she's the reason that you all of a sudden know how to win a match."

•You felt anger crawling up in Darby as if he was a volcano ready to errupt as MJF stood right infront of you placing one finger under your chin.

•"But your lucky charm right here won't help you get the win against me next week, won't it?"

•That was it. Within a split second Darby swung his skateboard up, eye's glaring, ready to knock MJF's damn head off. You yelled his name. "Don't you ever lay one of your disgusting fingers on her ever again."

•You placed your hands on Darby's as MJF held his up and slowly walked backwords "It's okay buddy. See ya next week."
