Mei-Rin, the princess that was home to a land at war with the Golden Dragon King, had been captured from her castle and brought to the Kings chambers by one of his most trusted generals, the Minotaur. Tales have been told about the kings frightening conquests, how he had slaughtered and crushed countless monarchs that opposed him and paved the way with their corpses to the vast and powerful kingdom that he now had. The minotaur and the other guards left her there, alone with the unseen King.

Quite honestly, it would be a lie to say Mei-Rin was not afraid. Yes, she did try to pretend she was brave, but this situation left her completely defenseless. Besides, she had heard the stories about the King, and it terrified her. What if he decided to kill her just to win? And it would not be anything uncommon.

Taking a deep breath, she wrapped her arms around herself, as if it could comfort her, but after a moment, she straightened up and let her hands down, looking around. Even if she was not brave, it would not be wise to show it so openly.

It was always common practice for those of royalty to greet each other. These royal meeting would usually mean there was a potential for alliance and shared resources from other kingdoms. This was something Carla loved because it meant she would be able to freely travel to the kingdom, had an agreement been settled which she would then get to see what kind of goods would be offered.

Today she made sure that everything was in place for the new visitor. He would be staying for a few days and would be able to absorb as much as he could about the kingdom before coming to a decision about an alliance.

The king and queen were most excited about this visit as they were informed it would be a king. For them it meant that Carla may strike his interest and possibly be taken back to his kingdom. Carla knew this to be a possibility, but was more concerned about making a impression than anything else the moment he arrived.

“In fact...I think we are about to run into an ambush.” Kaiakumi frowned, the thin hair of her spider body tingling. “...ugh we were so close to the well too...this is annoying...”

It turned out that the chaos being’s intuition was right, arrows soon coming from 8 different directions aiming at both Broden and Kaiakumi.

“Tsk...mindless fools.” With a swipe of her hand, the air around the chaos being heated to a point where the wooden arrows would burn to ashes before they could even reach her. But something was off. There couldn’t just be 8 simple undead archers. Suddenly a dragonslayer arrow would fly towards Kaiakumi from behind.

Arvus made his way to where Lilith was at. This time he was going to try something unorthodox. Upon arriving, he knocked on the door and waited for her to open it before he attempted to hypmotize her.

After she opened the door, she had only one second to react but it was too late, She only had a split second to scream before he started.

The instant the hypnotization began, the ring began to glow and envelop Lilith in a mist like barrier, to cover her from it.

Biest approached a strange looking house with a tilt of his head. Blinking, he let curiosity get the better of him, and he went towards the front door to knock on it. The reason why wasn't because it was some weird think he did, but this house had a different atmosphere to it. One he became deeply intrigued with.

From within the darkness of the office full of monitors, they looked up. What the hell was that thing at their front door?! Pushing a small button on the corner of the huge desk, multiple turrets revealed themselves at the entrance, all of them pointing at him.

On a peaceful evening in a village build near a volcano, the rough voice of the villages most skilled blacksmith Vol Ignea Umbra echoed through his humble residence. “Broden! Where in the world is Kaiakumi? She said she would be back home before dinner. Only a few hours ago Kaiakumi had left the house and the village to go to a place known as the Dragon Grave and search for rare materials and treasure. “Don’t tell him I’m going to the dragon grave. If I’m not back before dinner please cover me, okay brother?” Those were the words she said before she left and now it was Broden’s decision to either tell Vol the truth or to distract him for just a little longer.
