I think that Leta is a lot more emotionally driven than people give her credit for. So much so that depending on were she is (what mindset) she will think with her heart as opposed to her head. You know she is struggling when she is too far up in her head and thinking things through. This is something I’m particularly worried about at times because I thought that being so new to this RP community and RP in general I was just projecting nice qualities onto a muse that clicked on me. Sometimes I still worry about it, but I feel as though it suits her.

Also I hope this is unpopular and makes sense? If not I can absolutely re-do this hahaha.

No. Which is sad to admit. But I sort of have that annoying doctor handwriting that no one can read and everyone always asks “what the hell does that say?”

Of all the things that could have gone wrong, having his wand taken from him for a second time by the dark wizard... what was it about Grindelwald that he could always catch him off guard? Percival had rather thought he was constantly on guard since Grindelwald had been captured and he’d been found, but... apparently that was not the case.

He still had his hands though, and all the powerful wandless magic that flowed within them. Percival wasn’t just going to give up because he had his own wand pointed at his face.

    “You don’t really think I’m going to yield just because you disarmed me, do you?” Percival shot a curse at Grindelwald just to prove his point. Without his wand, he would tire long before Grindelwald did, but there was nothing on Earth that would stop him from fighting. “You’re not getting away.”

Torture - Interrogate Them

He was feeling this overwhelming exhaustion hitting him as a result of his current situation. Pure torture, that was what this was. All because the man wanted some information. Information Newt wasn’t willing to disperse. Creatures were his pride and joy, he would never subject them to Geller Grindelwald or whatever he had planned. Even if it was information or help with a creature the man was not knowledgeable about, Newt refused either option. He saw no benefit in telling Gellert what he wanted to know.

He panted, feeling quite light headed from all the physical abuse he had endured. But even still, Newt wasn’t giving in. “I already told you…” he murmured, “To pick up my book…If you can’t bother to read then, by Merlin….You shouldn’t be handling creatures…” Though, the information he was seeking was likely not in the book. It was a learning tool, not a guide to tame or control creatures. He was very specific when he wrote it. He didn’t want it to be used to abuse any of his creatures. His sass seemed to jerk out a response from Gellert, though. One that sent chills running through Newt.

‘You’re too cute.’ Somehow it sounded so ominous coming from the dark wizard. The idea that the man would play with him more afterwards was unnerving. More torment to look forward too even if he did talk. So what was the point in talking if it would only succeed in gaining him more pain? “You’re not getting anything out of me…So…find yourself another Magizoologist…”

Grindelwald kept his eyes on the Thestrals in front of them, canting his head lightly to the side as he gave Gellerts words a thought. One hand reached out, letting the winged creature come closer, Grindelwald watching the Thestral give it a sniff before backing away, deeming him not nearly as interesting as everything else around one of the wast courtyards at Nurmengard. 

A part of him hated the creatures - the mere reason for that was simple: he could see them, and they were a reminder of his fathers death, one he indirectly caused - the other liked them enough to tolerate them. While wild in nature, Thestrals could prove to be loyal, which was the case with the half a dozen he brought back with him after his spectacular escape from the MACUSA.

“The same could be said for us, wouldn’t you agree, Gellert?” Grindelwald asked, looking over at his companion. “I believe that they have their own beauty, like everybody and everything else. They might not be pleasing to the eye, I do admit that, though who am I to judge in the end?”
