I hope you all enjoyed Ascertainment: Janelle Monae. I will have to slightly edit show description relatively soon. Monae doesn’t exactly fit into the three stated genera but certainly does satisfy the criterion of making ethereal music which tells a riveting story; I want the mandate of the show to clearly include artists such as her for this reason. Look forward to that update.

On the other hand, I have indeed been straying pretty far from Vaporwave proper, and today I have an album for you which lies clearly within the (proto-)Vaporwave genre of Eccojams. Moreover, a lot of the music on the show within the past two weeks would likely appease a fairly general audience; today’s album is fucking weird. It’s neat and I hope you still listen to it and enjoy some very classic favorites being critically and mercilessly distorted into something quite unique.
