Aronn and April at a very fancy dinner party.
This could go very well or very, very poorly.
April grew up wealthy, she probably took etiquette lessons and had to deal with her mother slapping her wrists if she got something wrong. Aronn, however... did not. She grew up mostly around guys (at least in the timeline where April is a thing) and roughly 80% of her life was in the military. Formal dining? What’s that?
I’m just imagining April having to whisper advice and cover for her clumsy, inept girlfriend the entire evening. All while trying not to be frustrated because she knows this isn’t Aronn’s native territory by ANY means and that she’d be just as clumsy and inept trying to do what Aronn typically does.
(Fun fact: very fancy dinner parties really aren’t my thing, either. Which is probably where Aronn ACTUALLY gets it from.)
For the "talk about" thing. 5, 8 and 26
5: Talk about the best birthday you've had.
Oh Gods. I was twelve. We went to the pool and afterwards we went to Build-a-Bear. I still have the plush I made, too, a beagle named Cassie.
8: Talk about the thing you are most proud of.
It’s kinda bittersweet, but I think the thing that still makes me proud of myself is the advanced training certificate, from my martial arts days. Still kinda peeved I had to frame and mount that myself but y’know.
26: Talk about things you do when you're sick.
... Not much different from normal really? Unless it’s particularly bad I just take meds to counteract the symptoms and get on with things. I’m not really in a position where I can afford to stop because of illness.

A huge thank you to everyone who sent in love and support earlier. I nearly relapsed into some unhealthy old habits, and you all reminded me I was better than that...
