LOL. Kidding aside....I do remember the first time I was introduced to W40k in fall 2014 my first impression was, “OMG Hell no, that’s so depressing! There is no hope!”Then I laid eyes on Magnus the Red and his magnificent model in November 2016. Needless to say the ovaries exploded.A character that hot and that tragic....needed a bit of a pick me up. Karimah was created in December 2016. Initially designed as a fling for Magnus the Red because I wanted his arc to have a little sunshine in it. I felt so bad for him I wanted to give him some sort of happy ending. I stumbled into this fandom around that time.Fuuko was born in July 2017, out of a joke between a number of muns, a bunch of crazy anons, and poor old Konrad Curze mun @askkonradcurze (I’m so sorry you got roped into this, bud. No not really.) during a Fuck/Marry/Kill Meme. I figured, you know what, WHY THE HELL NOT. He’s got a tragic story too, so lets give him a smidgen of Brighthammer. (If I ever find out who that anon is I would flay I mean, thank them for this ridiculousness).My inspiration is drawn from wanting to look on “The Brighter Side of Life.” When everything is already dark, hopeless and depressing, you want to inject a little hope in there and in my case I take romance and blend it in (also because really it’s the only thing I know....). It may be so anti-lore, and anti-canon and heretical, but you know, with the billions of people living, dying, fighting in the Grimdarkness of 40k.....somebody, somewhere, love exists and thrives.I just happened to take it and spin it to the characters I like :)
