“I know, I know.” Rey whispers. She hangs her head shamefully, knowing that she should just go back to her room. But it’s so horribly quiet in there, and so dark, she just needs someone to talk to. Just for a little bit.

When Kira pulls her inside her quarters, she lets out a small sigh of relief. She nods her head at her sister’s question and immediately sits down on the bed, arms wrapping around her torso.

“Yes.” she admits, “I saw them...just...shadows of them...in the sand. They were in pain. It...it made me want to go back there...to help them...”

Kira: *clawing at her seat* TURN DOWN! TURN DOWN!

Rey: TURN DOWN FOR WHAT?! *Icaruses that bitch*

"If you say so." With a grimace, Poe drops to all fours behind Rey, though his broad shoulders pose a bit of a challenge in the narrow tunnel. "Lead the way, but if you get lost, I'm coming up with another plan."

“to talk about it?” he asks it, obviously coming to work things out between them. he wants it to be simple, easy, but it never was with her. “you know what i am. you don’t seem to care.” and she wasn’t scared of him which was a plus. “tell me what you want, kira. be blunt.”

I love how whenever two Rey muses interact, my Kylo/Ben is like “There are two of them?” And now he’s like “Am I in a three way version of a dyad? I’m so confused.”

The fad of extremely small fonts, extremely stylized fonts, and icons that are a 4th the size of a postage stamp is infuriating! RPing is suppose to be about being able to reply and interact with each other’s writing and how am I suppose to do that if I can’t decipher what you give me? And what’s the point of icons in an rp if you can’t figure out what’s in the icon??

My own perception aside it kinda verges on ableism like people with sight difficulties, and reading difficulties are likely going to feel excluded from the RP experience because you’ve made it so hard to see your work without having to jump several hoops.

Like I suppose it’s okay if we can’t read whats on your theme, because then we can do that side-dash read of the posts on your blog, but when the posts themselves on Tumblr’s default formatting is unreadable then what’s the point?

She was there again, in the cave. 

Seven sunsets after her encounter with...whatever it was she’d seen, Rey returned to the yawning cavern beneath Ahch-to’s surface; intent, as Luke counselled she should, on facing her fear. He was sure, her master told her, that what she’d seen had been a manifestation of some inner turmoil she had; a test brought to her by the Force, like he had faced long ago on Dagobah - his face staring back up at him from Darth Vader’s broken mask.

Tentatively, the sea’s echoing howl distant now, Rey faced herself again in the mirrored rock. The apparition came more quickly this time; her reflection twisting, changing in increments until it wasn’t quite her anymore. Heeding her master’s wisdom, Rey steeled herself; a hand lingering near the hilt of the Lightsaber clipped to her belt.

‘...Who are you?’ she  demanded, the clawing dread  she felt in her gut checked as best she could. ‘What do you want from me?’
