Risographs! Today I discovered the perfect print technique (for impatient people like me). It's such a good feeling to just make things and move on. I waste far too much time planning, thinking and worrying when I could be producing work and learning by making mistakes. Oor Wullie settles in at Dundee House - The Courier

The Lord Provost was joined by some special guests on Wednesday morning, at an unveiling of Dundee House’s new favourite son – Oor Wullie. Really chuffed that ‘Women of the World’ is going to live in Dundee House: Dundee City Council’s main building in the centre of the city. The sculpture is situated in the welcome hall so everyone who enters the building will see him.

Who lives in a house like this? I’m working on my picture book today, deciding where my main protagonist is going to live. This building is at the foot of Dundee Law. It looks like a watch tower of some sort, and I like the way it’s apparently plonked in the middle of the houses. My character feels like he stands out from everyone else, so it fits quite well. I’ve used (yellow) block printing ink and acrylic ink with dip pen. And a bit of pencil.

"Sheba?" Bianca repeated with a soft frown, her eyebrows finally raised. "I am not sure how I am another surprise, Ma’am."

"I understand you're a man to talk to when someone wants to be on the level?" The blonde asked with a small frown.

That question prompted his head to tilt, curious.  “That would depend entirely upon the person.  I’ve never verified anyone’s honesty when they’ve come to me.  What might I do for you, Miss?”
