👂🌿🐜Hear no evil.🙉 This is a part of the triptych "speak no evil, see no evil, hear no evil". It turned out to be a rather conceptual rendition. I used vines to represent growth and life with it's own eco system instead of blocking [ears, eyes, mouth]. My interpretation turned out more about conscious focusing on positive, nurturing, empowering, instead of blocking the damaging. Usually when I work with insects and place them in sensitive areas on the face, people decide in their reaction. Many are weirded out about this idea. I personally love the idea of repurposing and focus on that. Once the insect is deceased I can give it an extended life in art, where they can be captured for ever.
