Drew Pettifer is a Melbourne based artist, curator and academic who works with sculpture, photography and installation to create works surrounding topics like sexuality, gender and representation.
Pettifer was invited to guest-edit Issue 27 of Sydney-based art journal, Das Superpaper, the theme of which was/is 'The Body Politic'. The Issue features interviews, essays and visuals on artists like Paul Knight, Paul Yore, Santiago Sierra, Richard Bell, a piece on female mentorship and more. You can download it here for free.
Sarah spoke with Drew over his own art practice, over the politics of the body, and of the problems surrounding representation.
