Tucked away in a quiet corner of the open field with her Ninetales curled around her for warmth, Blue hadn't been expecting any company while spectating the evening's fireworks. She looks up at the approaching figure, recognition flickering in her eyes at the sight of an old friend.

She smiles and nods as way of an answer before turning her gaze to the heavens once more, where the next round of fireworks lights up the sky in a smattering of bright colors. Beautiful indeed.

"They really are. I've seen many impressive displays while staying in major cities like Jubilife and Lumiose, but these are by far the most breathtaking. Guess it's true what they say, Unovans go big or go home."

One of her hands pats the blanket beside her, offering a spot if he wants to join her. "It's been a while, Rei. Didn't expect to run into you here of all places, but I'm glad."
