Sometimes those that make you suffer want you to bite, they just hope they can direct that biting at someone other than them.

Anywhere is a decent bite spot if you're willing to put effort in. Besides, an area of low blood flow helps mediate the amount of blood taken. Easier to take too much when you're feeding from a high flow location.
