It's really fun, Sir.

I am glad. I wouls hope to not be the first to notice. How lovely, why would you want to change if you have been given such talent, Sir? No disrespect intended. Harmless doesn't offend, it would be the last thing I would desire to hurt another. I just thought it came off rather odd. I hope you don't mind.
It isn’t all the glamour it’s cracked up to be. I actually, ah.. I hate it every time. Lovely? Even for politeness, it’d be a steep assumption to take my word as fact that I have even a shred talent - which I do, thank you. Odd’s nice. Odd’s the best thing you could really hope for around here.
Some of your previous postings captured my attention which drew me to say hello. May I inquire what your major is? I'm sorry for your injury, no matter how small. I find myself winding down as well with a glass of wine. Perhaps admitting that I'm drinking and messaging students sends out the wrong vibe though.
Oh… Sorry, it just isn’t the first time I’ve heard that. I’m wibbling and wobbling in my narrowing musical theater field, but I’ve decided it’ll just be another thing I won’t be changing about myself this year. Maybe; But if “harmless” doesn’t come off as derogatory, there’s the word I’d give you.
Ah, I see. I've only picked a few select people to torture with my messages this evening. I shall get to the rest during my normal office hours, Sir. The pleasure of this acquaintance is mine. How are you this evening?
Then thank you for the temporary selectivity, Professor. I’m trying to wind down from the day, and I’d accidentally scraped my knuckles in class this morning to the pain point level of an irritating paper cut, so you can bet that’s basically destroying my life right now. But I’d say I’m perfect otherwise. How are you?
