Current lore (subject to change)

The gathering of the ballpit is a warrior cats au in which there are five clans located in the forest just outside a city. This is a work in progress and a community project where people are free to add their own characters to the world!

I have plans to make some sort of space for everyone to roleplay, but this is basically to get ideas down on paper (well, screen, but still) and gauge interest. 🐈

Clans

Dashclan, Redclan, Pitclan, and Wildsclan are the dominant clans, and the fifth clan, Artclan, is far more isolationist than the others and is known to do odd rituals. Dashclan is known for their swiftness and ability to themselves in the forest. Redclan is known for brutality and their unique individual fighting styles (each member has their own special fighting style). Pitclan aren't the oddest clan of the bunch, but they are considered weird by other clans for their habit of collecting fruits and vegetables to store for food when prey dries up. (These are magic fiction cats DO NOT feed real cats vegetables or fruit) Wildsclan pride themselves on being connected to their ancestors. They decorate themselves heavily in natural items like feathers and dirt, and their favorite method of fighting and hunting is climbing. They scale trees and drop onto unsuspecting victims. Artclan is a rather isolated group that has strange rituals. Like Wildclan, they decorate themselves, unlike Wildclan, they use whatever they find to do it. They love to make paint and cover themselves in it. Very odd cats indeed.

(All of this lore is subject to change as time goes on, and your own headcanons about this world are appreciated. Please send them in.)
