It will never not piss me off that we got three seasons of that fucking show (And a movie. Ugh.) but not Dash & Lily. Three books. Three seasons. I'm furious now and I'll be furious when I'm eighty.

Honestly, a hellcheer au with Dash & Lily's plot would be amazing. I can't believe I just thought of it.

Now that I've finally read the Dash & Lily trilogy, I'm even more disappointed that the show got cancelled. So much happens later and it's all great. I love their relationship. I love the drama and tension. I love that there's no love triangle/square at all after book one. (I hate that guy. Sofia is great though.) It's just them and their issues. I love how sweet and romantic they are. I love that I could hear Austin and Midori while I was reading. I'm devastated. It would've been fantastic to see it all on screen. I cannot stress this enough. So much happens. Season two and three would've been bangers even with it all cut down.
I'm rewatching the show AND reading the book for the first time.
Crazy to me that Holidate and Dash & Lily came out in the same year. Christmas romcoms peaked that year. I wish they were all like that.
