I think the overwhelming support for Ashley is beautiful!!!!!!! Plus she's like 25. If I got harassed at 25 in her shoes by a bunch of jerks I would be so mad 😡

totally!!! as someone who used to be a septiplier shipper and grew out of it, i know how rabid fandom can be. dan deserves to be happy and tbh its not like any of us were gonna score with him (except in our dreams). The fact that he trusted us with this knowledge says a lot about us and him. If we act like mature people, then we get trusted. if we act like jerks, then we’ll know nothing. 

 I’d also like to mention my irritation at some people’s reaction to their age gap. Dan’s like 15 years older? They’re both over the age of majority, both consenting adults. My own parents are ten years apart. Their relationship is not the place to discuss your purity- and anti-ideals. There’s absolutely no proof that this is nothing but a loving relationship.

I’m so glad there’s an outpour of support for Ashley. She doesn’t deserve any kind of hate. I’d love to see Dan have a relationship like Arin and Suzie. Welcome to the Grump family, Ashley!!!
