rin is quite confident not only with his skills but also his body.
he's almost always topless but he never thought that that would turn him into a blushing mess whenever you compliment him about it.
like all the other times, you find yourself staring at his muscles and admiring them from afar.
you're not new to this, you've seen him like this countless of times but today he looked extra good ✨
so unknowingly, you start zoning out and just end up lost in your own thoughts.
rin has his back to you, getting ready to take his position at the diving board but before he jumped in, he called for you, wanting to ask something about starting the timer.
when you didn't answer for a few seconds, rin looked back only to find a pair of arms wrapping around him.
he jumped in slight surprise but realized it was you.
"what are you doing?" he chuckled, trying to hide his smile when he heard you sigh.
"why do you have to look all handsome today?" you murmur, planting a soft kiss on his shoulder blade.
cue the slight blush painting his cheeks and he starts to look around the pool. thankfully there aren't a lot of people around right now.
you nuzzle your face against his back and plant two more kisses which makes him feel all tingly inside.
rin turns in your embrace and lightly pinches your nose.
"what do you mean 'today'?" he smirks. "i always look handsome."
"exactly!" your exasperated sigh had him laughing. "your muscles look so good today rin~ i love them so much."
"is that the only thing you love about me?" rin opens his mouth, feigning shock.
"wha–" you hug him tighter and pout. "of course not! i love everything about you."
rin smiles and gives you a peck on the cheek. "i love everything about you too. now go back there and start the timer for me. please, baby?"
"fine~" you kiss him back and let go.
and just before he dives into the water, he hears you say, "take care of those muscles okay!"
