@djcokeofbk A lot of people asked why I'm I so passionate about my PROJECT. Well, let me tell you. You see this guy on my left, he goes by the name "Dj Coke", 1/3 member of The Dream Team Djs (Dj Shetch, Dj Flex, & Dj Coke). First official Haitian Mainstream Dj Team On The Streets Of BK that made it to @Hot97, which if I'm not mistaken started out from Sky Wave Djs. Could be wrong. Don't quote me on that. Dream Team started out in 1995. I believe Mega Bass Was another Haitian Dj Team Out In Brooklyn New York That had a huge impact on these Brooklyn New York Streets that started out in the 80s. Which my homie @ralfeboy was a member. Unfortunately I don't think MEGA BASS made it to @Hot97. Nonetheless Mega Bass Was Huge Out Here. My point is this, a lot of our stories are hidden and are lost due to a lot of reasons. Well, guess what? As long as I'm alive these stories are not lost. I will find a way to dig them out & bring light to these stories and hopefully show THE AFFECT THESE YOUNG HAITIANS HAD ON THESE NYC STREETS & THE GAME AS A WHOLE & Vice versa. See, it's way deeper than @ralphlauren. When I say VINTAGE EVERYTHING I know what I'm provoking. Unfortunately I'm not just referring to clothes & shallow bs. I'm really going back in time to demonstrate how we lived out here in these streets and show how us Haitian kids made our transition from our Haitian households to urban America and progressively to Mainstream America, and most importantly to educate the youth & show them when we were having fun, probably more fun than today and we kept our heads high and stayed away from gang activities & listened to our parents, which did not prevent us from being Fresh to death out here. Especially, the Haitian kids back then!!
