Lol I took the evil quiz and got 25%, but I remembered I had swimming classes in high school even though I could already swim (we had to swim a lap under supervision as a test and I failed on purpose because I knew the “remedial” classes were more fun than swimming 20-30 laps a day in gym class). Retook it and it bumped my score up to 75%.

how did you come up with your username?

Fun story! When i was a tiny 14 yr old I took the Intro To Theater class to fulfill one of my 4 performing arts credits (lol idk why I thought I would need to make an effort to fulfill those, I took dance for 4 years straight and ended up with over 10 performing arts credits) 

In this wonderful theater class our lovely teacher Fuj told us we would be putting on a musical in our groups. We had three groups total and each group got assigned a musical. My group was assigned Wicked. Being the nerd I am I spent the whole time talking about how I read the book and how much i loved the book and I think my cast got sick of me so they gave me the part of The Wizard of Oz, jokes on them I discovered my passion for theater AND they technically had to bow to me. 

Since I of course ~issues~ aka could not understand why people didn’t like me, I think this power kind of went to my head. Especially when tiny freshman me was bowed to by seniors, SENIORS!  i lost my goddamn mind! and thanks to the script they had to call me Your Ozness (instead of your highness). So i just thought that was the goddamn bees knees and thought it was SUPER COOL. 

thus the username, and if you find a yourozness somewhere else on the internet it is probably still me because I am lame and have no creativity. I still giggle whenever I say it because damn, that one little line just tickled my funny bone so much i am now in my third year of getting my theater degree with plans to go to film school.

Harry Potter asks: Which scene was left out of the films that you think should have been included? What would be your favourite and least favourite Hogwarts classes? What is your favourite spell? and in the most let's-not-start-a-fight way possible, What is your opinion of Snape and his actions throughout the series?

Which scene was left out of the films that you think should have been included? Oh gosh, so many. I think for me the scenes that I really wish were included were the ones from the later books? Specifically anything pertaining to SPEW/house elves and the Remus, Sirius, Tonks arc

What would be your favourite and least favourite Hogwarts classes? Given who I am as a person, I probably would actually really enjoy history of magic just because I love learning about things that have happened and how those events impact us today. I would probably like potions the least? Maybe? I don’t know, I have a hard time with smells, they usually give me headaches and then there’s a lot of potions that you need to figure out how to do things based on the color and well I’m colorblind so that would be difficult. 

What is your favourite spell?  ACCIO or the ability to apparate. As a spoonie both of those would make my life a lot easier, also I’m usually late to things and lose stuff a lot so both of those would be helpful

What is your opinion of Snape and his actions throughout the series?oh boy, well, I don’t really like him. I definitely went through the phases like, oh he’s evilllll, then oh wait, he’s sacrificed so much??? to wow he’s actually very selfish. I think that he’s a fascinating character and honestly I’m really glad Jo included him because it shows how bad things with good intentions and good deeds with bad intentions exist in the world and you can never really make assumptions about someone because you never truly know them. That said, I don’t like him. I think he was selfish, cowardly, and manipulative in all the relationships he had and essentially was butt hurt about the whole lily ordeal. Like JK said, if neville was the chosen one snape would have never helped and tbh thinking about what would have happened if harry had been a girl who looked like lily is very disturbing. But this is my opinion and I am not trying to change other people’s minds.

Hi, so, um, you're Pasifika, right? So, I was wondering, what is your opinion on white people cosplaying as Moana? Bc I'd say that anyone can cosplay as Aurora for example, but Aurora's race isn't tied to her identity the same way? I really hope this isn't offensive. Thanks!

Hi! Yes, I am native Hawaiian (the voice actor for moana is my classmate). For moana, yes, DO IT! Cosplay as Moana, she is a character that everyone should be able to enjoy! Maybe don’t dress up in her royal wear, but definitely her every day outfit is okay! As for Maui, I’m slightly more hesitant. Mainly because the Disney costume for Maui was literally sheer nylons with the tattoos on them. That’s just like… Wearing his skin man. That’s creepy even without the cultural implications. So tatoos are very sacred to us. I think if I went to a comic Con and I saw some non Polynesian dude wearing only mauis skirt and he had painted the tattoos on him, I would be totally chill with that. But that is my personal opinion, which a lot of polynesians don’t share because of the sacredness of tattoos. However, I am okay with it because while mauis tattoos are based on Polynesian tattoos, they aren’t actually, so it’s okay in my mind. If I saw someone dressed up as the rock and they had his shoulder tattoo painted on them, I would have issues.

So yes, go, be free! Dress up as Moana! Take your family with you and dress up together as her family! Dress up as the kid who starts dancing like lilo and stitch! Just don’t wear the skin of my people and we’re good!

how do you feel abt hunk being confirmed as samoan on tyler labine's twitter?

I AM SO AMAZINGLY STOKED BY IT!!!!! First off, yes I am a huge fan of Hawaiian Hunk and I still think he is because most Hawaiians are mixed race and having him be Samoan and Hawaiian isn’t too much of a stretch. I personally headcanon him as being hawaiian, samoan, chinese, filipino, and portuguese. However, I would not be surprised by any race they say tbh, we’re very mixed.

Secondly, OH MY GOD CONFIRMED POLYNESIAN YESYESYESYESYESYESYESSSSSS this is everything I could have ever wanted. When I saw it I almost threw my phone I am so in love my beautiful son is officially Polynesian and literally no one can say otherwise.
