The human mind is one of the most beautiful and intriguing things on the planet. The creations of the brain have been appreciated since time immemorial, but with the rise of artificial intelligence, the diversity and versatility of the mind is diminished.
I don't say don't use AI, it is a tool for humans to be more efficient, however some things are better left in the hands of the mind.
"Data prompting is the new best talent" is said by many AI enthusiasts, which is true but is it not still a way of saying, "a good writer can create worlds with their words"
When a person is not a good writer he won't be able to use this AI to generate good results, and smart work is good in situations where it is detrimental to be quick, but art is not one of those situations.
AI is used currently by people inefficiently, and these users encroach on the true talent held by so many.
You cannot write so you use AI, well there is someone who can write, who started with you, but it will take them longer, since their art is crafted with talent and effort and not a small prompt.
When it comes to work no one is doing as a passion -
writing your notes for you to study from, finding you a song based on its lyrics within seconds.
There is no harm, but using AI for what you do for your own betterment, for things which engage the mind, is harming not only those who are truly working but also the person cheating on life with this tool.
You use a knife to cut a fruit, not a saw
You keep the saw for what the knife cannot do.
When the generated being eats lava and sleeps in a bed of cactus, it is the saw cutting wood
but when it replaces your favourite actor on screen in a role where they just live life, that is the saw trying to cut a fruit.
Use AI for what the human mind and body is incapable of doing. Not for what people are spending their lives to achieve.
