As I write this the numbers just got more. With all these servers in the world there has been much debate about the extremely high amounts of energy required to cool down our servers. A new proposal plans to build these massive 300 m tall Data skyscrapers to address the increasing amount of Data and traffic. These towers are to be built in Iceland and therefore the surrounding temp coupled with the enormous amount of renewable energy available make Iceland an ideal location for this sort of project.
