It looks like there's a fuss on the dateables leaving the MC post realization and yeah it sounds disappointing even though they still keep in touch. I haven't gone this far into the game, but I wonder if you can still realize dateables that you haven't romanced? Bc in those cases, then having them leave makes sense. I don't know, it's disappointing spending time romancing them and getting invested only for them to up and leave.
Like I really do get them going out and making a life for themselves that doesn't revolve around the MC, but it's also jarring with some of the characters that it can end up feeling ooc. It would've been better if the dateables you befriended move out and keep in touch with you while the romanced ones also pursue their own lives, but stick around with the MC and have a future with them. Yeah, it can be realistic for them to break up or whatever, and it could also be confusing if you're dating multiple characters, but come on, it's more rewarding
