4th January A hearing has been scheduled where lawyers for Prince Andrew are expected to argue for a dismissal of Virginia Giuffre's civil lawsuit, accusing the Duke of York of sexually abusing her when she was 17.
9th January The Duchess of Cambridge will celebrate her 40th birthday.
6th February The Queen will mark 70 years since she ascended the throne, following the death of her father King George VI in 1952. She usually spends the day privately at Sandringham, but has previously made public appearances to mark significant milestones. No details yet.
Spring 2022 The life of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, will be celebrated in a service of thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey.
2nd - 5th June The Queen will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee with the nation. An extra bank holiday + Trooping the Colour, a service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral, a visit to the Epsom Derby, a live concert at Buckingham Palace, and street parties and picnics.
21st June The Duke of Cambridge will celebrate his 40th birthday.
'Later in 2022' Prince Harry is expected to publish his tell-all memoir. The Duke of Sussex said his book will be written “not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become” and as an “accurate and wholly truthful” account of his life.
