Dating!Minki (Ren)
You’d meet Minki while grocery shopping, well not really like formally meet, but he’d just come up to you and be like “You’re beautiful you should go out with me for coffee.”
With such a beautiful way of asking how could you say no, actually quite easily, you weren’t taken by his words and walked away from him.
It took him asking you out three more times over the month, since it just happened you both went to the same grocery store.
After his fourth time asking you out, this time over the lettuce display for a change, you finally gave in and said yes.
You had made a promise to yourself to avoid guys you felt just wanted to sleep with someone then leave, but his persistence made you feel like maybe he wasn’t that kind of guy.
After you said yes, he’d be like let’s go now, no forewarning or anything.
Coffee once became coffee twice, then ice cream, a movie, and before you knew it the both of you had been together a month.
The both of you would just naturally start calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend, no official talk about becoming exclusive or anything.
He’d start it first, like let’s be real, he’d just be like "My girlfriend is so beautiful” and you’d be like "Girlfriend, what girlfriend, you have a girlfriend”, and he’d be like "Yeah, you”.
He’d take you on karaoke dates and he sings nothing but Lady Gaga songs. He used to sing Lady Gaga songs and dance around at your house, but since he broke that one vase that was really special to you, you don’t allow him anymore.
He says Lady Gaga sunbaenim wouldn’t make him restrict his love of dance and her songs, so you probably tell him if he loves Lady Gaga so much why doesn’t he date her instead.
He lowkey considers leaving you for her, before deciding he’s fine just listening to her songs while cuddling you.
He’s not big on couple items and dressing in matching outfits, but you’d probably have like simple matching necklaces and rings.
He’d be that boyfriend that helps you pick your outfit for the day, but not so it matches with his, but so it doesn’t clash with his.
“Babe I’m wearing green you can’t just wear red, it’s not Christmas.”
He pouts and says Aaron appreciates him more when you tell him no, like: “What do you mean you won’t let me redecorate your apartment, have you seen my eye for design.”
And you’re like: “Minki last time you ‘redecorated’ you just ended up moving everything over by 3 centimeters and calling it good.”
And he’s like: “Aaron appreciates my eye for design.”
To which you’d be like: “Well then maybe you should date him instead of me.”
After that Minki would constantly joke that he’d leave you for Aaron, especially since Aaron loves his long hair.
He’d never actually leave you for Aaron, but he’d love teasing you saying he is.
Minki would love teasing you regardless, like you can’t reach the item he put on the top shelf, he’s laughing at you for a good five minutes before he finally gets the item you wanted for you.
He’d pull you close and peck your lips, making you think he’s gonna kiss you again, and then just pull away and walk off.
When you two weren’t on karaoke dates, you’d just be cuddled up on the sofa watching a movie.
Minki will say he can watch any movie or show you want to, because he’s a man and he’ll watch whatever movie his woman wants to.
The reality however, is that he’s fine with any movie that isn’t a scary movie.
If you did get a scary movie or show on without him noticing, the moment he does, he’s kissing your neck trying to persuade you into picking another movie or just turning it off and cuddling with him.
He plays the guitar and serenades you with a melody of Lady Gaga’s greatest hits.
Will challenge you at least once a week to a girl group dance off to decide who does dishes, because he knows you can’t beat his moves.
Teaches you girl group dances when you are both bored, spends longer teaching you girl group dances than he does learning his own groups dances.
He’d probably start talking about your future together one night really late when he’s half asleep, and says if you two have a daughter her name will be Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta Choi and is completely serious while saying it.
Minki would tease you a lot, say he’d leave you for Lady Gaga and Aaron, but he’d love you more than he loves anyone else in the world.
