There is a dreadful moment in life that everyone want to avoid if possible. The last stage of relationship, separation. Nevertheless we have no choice but to embrace the bitter reality and cope with the pain that follows.
Having said that, I have a question for you. How would you define a good breakup ?
You need to take time to think it through over and over before you say goodbye. And when that inevitable moment comes, you have to look them in the eyes and tell them how you feel, loud and clear.
Don't run away without saying anything. Don't send a farewell notice in a text message. These are all acts of pure cowardice.
Once you have made your decision, refrain from blaming or resenting the other person. For the other person's sake, as well as your own.
Breakup. You wonder if you will ever get used to it, but once you are through that tunnel, you'll often find it helpful in the least expected way.
Breaking up with someone is a necessary step you must take to have a better future relationship. Your past is never a waste of time, nor something to be ashamed of. Every breakup gives you time for introspection, which in turn hardens the muscles of your heart.
