I've been following @datmcomic's Death and the Maiden comic for a while now, and I absolutely love the colour palettes that are used. Particularly the different palettes for the two main characters, Amors and Evita. So I made a piece inspired by each of them!

TODAY I POSTED THE 50th PAGE OF DEATH AND THE MAIDEN!!

To celebrate, I'm posting the eight pages above... they're my favorite scene so far, they're pages 28-35.

If you've never read Death and the Maiden, it's about Amors and Evita - they are witches living in a world where not everyone believes in magic. Amors is a necromancer who is not actually that good at necromancy, but is absolutely sure she's going to be able to bring her grandma back from the dead. Evita is really good at brewing potions, but is less good at being a coffee shop employee, or being confident. It's a story about growing up and what to do about the future.

I love these panels because I feel they are applicable to many things. Like when I realize i've been on tik tok for five minutes straight. Or when I log onto tumblr and find out that castiel is in superhell for being gay.
