Hello hello! My name is Abby, and I would pretty please like matchups for Lotr and Dragon age veilguard if it's not too much trouble:) I think I'd just be human in both universes. For DA I'm not really sure which faction I would be, in playthroughs I tend to pick wardens but it's more because of origins bias then actual preference, so feel free to pick one for me if it's important to the matchup :)
I use she/they pronouns, and am bisexual but in this case I would like male matchups.
I'm a journalism student, so I'm a big fan of knowing things. Not really in a super smart I know everything way, but in a knowing a weird amount about specific topics that rarely come up way. (I'll go on about flower language for ages if no one stops me lol).
In terms of hobbies I think I'm on the more creative side. I love music, both playing and listening. I play guitar and Alto saxophone, and I'm currently learning the harmonica, so in terms of class I think I'd land in a bard type of deal (I don't remember if veilguard had Bard as a subclass). I'm also a big animal fan. I have a lot of pets at home, currently consisting of three cats, two dogs and a bearded dragon. I love them all dearly they are my babies, even if one of them is a little bit evil sometimes.
For personality stuff, I'll be a little quiet at first, but I'm generally an upbeat person, at least that's what people tell me. My favorite example is when my friend described me as a human pep rally. I do like my quiet though, I'm a big fan of the occasional be left alone day. I'll spend a lot of it cooking or curled up on the couch. I like to think I'm generally built for domestic life.
Physically I'm like 5'6 and kinda chubby with brown hair (either wavey, straight, or nonsensically big depending on how much it hates me that day) and brown eyes. I also wear glasses and have a lot of birthmark freckle things on my arm and like nowhere else.

Even though Frodo would have to look up at you, and probably stand on a stool or something just to kiss you – given that you’re like a foot and six inches taller than him – he would still absolutely adore you with every (tiny) fiber of his being!
Easily the first thing that drew him to you was your sheer amount of knowledge, no matter how specific it may be. This is the same hobbit who probably owns more books than years he has left in his life and dedicates himself to learning Sindarin Elvish, he would listen to literally anything you wanted to tell him about, whether or not he understood any of it. Honestly just being able to see your pretty face is plenty enough to satisfy him 😉. Plus I’m pretty sure that hobbits would be super into flower language too, so he could definitely relate to that.
The two of you also have really similar personalities in general. You’re both quiet and enjoy your alone time and simple comforts, so you’d both work so well together as a couple. Hobbits are also the pinnacle of domestic harmony, so if you want to live a happy domestic life, you’d absolutely belong with a hobbit. Frodo was also very upbeat before he carried the One Ring to Mordor, so your sweethearted and spunky personality reminds him of simpler times. It brings him a special piece of home that helps him during the journey to Mordor – you’re his tether to the Shire, to the pleasures of life and love, and he is so grateful to have you with him. Your pep rally-like personality also really helpful to him, both on the journey and after it. Frodo literally could not love you more if he tried to, you feel like the center of his world, especially after carrying the One Ring.
You two would live so happily together in the Shire. If you love animals, then I feel like Hobbiton would be a very happy place for you. Not only would the two of you have so many adorable pets together, but you’d probably see some bunnies and other adorable wildlife every time you stepped outside, and Frodo gets so happy after seeing how excited that makes you. He loves curling up on the couch with you and eating all of the delicious food you’d make him. Every time he feels his trauma weighing him down, you would absolutely cook him some delicious treats and play music for him, and it’s enough to bring tears to his eyes every time – tears of joy and love, of course! You mean so much to him, and he does everything he can to support you in whatever ways you need to. Frodo finds such purpose in caring for you, just like you do for him, and you make him feel like the happiest hobbit in all of the Shire, despite everything that’s happened to him.

This was really hard to decide honestly because you could go really well with the other male companions too – Davrin could relate to your love for animals, and Emmrich would find your knowledge very attractive, but something about Lucanis just really stuck out to me. And the more I thought about it, the more sense it made!
Out of all the male companions, I actually think that Lucanis would be one of the more domestic guys after you two officially get together. Davrin is an adventuring addict and Emmrich is usually busy with rituals at the not-too-comforting Grand Necropolis, but when you’re dating Lucanis you could basically just relax at his incredibly fancy family villa while he’s out doing contracts and leading the Antivan Crows. And that way he’d have someone to come home to every time! He’d definitely curl up on the couch with you and snuggle you, and you’d help him take his armor off before bed. You two would just be so cute together!
Your “human pep rally” personality would also be really helpful for Lucanis, especially as he mentally escapes the Ossuary and finds a way to cope with Spite as he goes after his cousin. He’s really going through it during Veilguard, so he needs your positivity and comfort more than ever. Also, Spite would absolutely adore you!! He thinks you’re so fun and loves listening to you. Their shares love for you is one of the first things that Lucanis and Spite can really agree on. Though, Lucanis would definitely relate to, and appreciate, your quiet nature too. He definitely needs his alone and quiet time himself – he literally hides in a pantry all day when living at the Lighthouse – so he’d be more than comfortable with not constantly being attached at the hip all the time. Even if Spite might complain about that lol.
Your love of knowledge would also really come in handy to Lucanis when he’s out fulfilling contracts too. Not to mention that he also just loves listening to you talk about everything you’re interested in, regardless of whether he understands it or it’s useful or not. As long as it’s you speaking, Lucanis is more than willing to listen. I’m also a really convinced that Lucanis loves animals too – I mean, he’s clearly obsessed with wyverns specifically! Even if the other Antivan Crows complain about how many pets you two have, he will shut that talk down immediately. He’s the First Talon now, and if his sweetheart wants 15 different pets then she’s going to get just that! He also definitely has the money and resources to get you basically whatever you want, just in general.
The two of you would just live such sweet, domestic lives together! Which you definitely deserve after the shitshow of the main Veilguard game, honestly. Whether you’re taking turns cooking for each other or even cooking together, or Lucanis is listening to you play some music with the biggest heart eyes anyone has ever seen him with, you two are so sweet together. So much so that nobody ever expected to see Lucanis so happy and smitten with someone, but you’ve brought so much love and peace into his life that he would go through everything he’s been through fifty more times, so long as it meant that he gets to meet you every time.
