Daud headcanon

Daud has bore the scar on his face since he was fairly young, and has a love hate relationship with it.

"In the field, there's no texture more comforting than nice, tough leather and steel. At home, I enjoy the dry, crinkly texture of paper and parchment. I don't have much of a preference otherwise, but I've never liked silk. It feels wrong."

Opal Wonder: How big is their imagination? Do they tend to share these ideas or keep them to themselves?

"Oh, huge. I love to daydream, and the only thing better than daydreaming is getting to talk about it. I don't think Angela agrees, though. She's usually the one on the recieving end of such conversations."

Daud doesn’t approach the concept of “love” lightly. Brotherhood, perhaps, comraderie of course. He watches over those in his charge and cares for them in a way, but “love” is a sinkhole and a snare, and “fate” is a lie…At least that’s what he tells himself to sleep at night.

Sexually, Daud is liberal and well…a giver. Many of his whalers are...familiar with him. Gender doesn’t matter, and neither does sex. If he wants it, he wants it, and he gains great pleasure from bringing others to the plateau of their bliss. He’s more of a hedonist than a sadist, but will occasionally oblige someone their personal tastes. More interested in getting others off than getting off himself. He’s not exclusive. Occasionally, he’ll use bodily passions to get his way, but only if there’s a way to profit without permanently harming someone…
