She goes a little red.“H-HAH UUHHH…. You lookin’ for someone else?…. Who just happens to-who looks like me?”
This is all I got so far. We got a Jigen, an Apple, and Rachael in a zoot suit.
I haven't drew much from my writing my for @daughterofcyclops rp blog. Trying to figure out how they gonna get out off gun fire without being killed !
Arkham Artists: Part 4
The manhole cover that Grundy had directed them to had lead out to the edge of the bay area where most of the cargo ships and privately owned boast were docked. Rachael climbed up the rings in the concrete wall and wedged the heavy cover off the hole to poke her head out and look around. It was night time now and the sound of crashing water and screeching seagulls flowed around her when she looked out, she couldn’t have felt any luckier that day then she did now! “Hey, I know where we are! Follow me; I have a bunker around here that we can stay in for a bit.” She held open the cover to let Apple climb out after her and they began to creep to where the crates were kept.
Along with many others around Gotham, she had a little fox hole on the dock that was within the maze of large metal crates that were kept as emergency storage in case something were to happen to a ship. They were never used, or at least the ones around her hide out, and were left to rust and rot in the breeze of the bay. The down side was that there was only one large open room with supplies in it and nowhere to keep herself locked up if her withdraw got worse. On the bright side if it rained they wouldn’t have to get wet again and could actually stay dry for once today.
As she lead Apple through the maze of towering storage crates she began to wonder what happened to any of her other ‘acquaintances’ that were in Arkham during the raid. She knew Neil and Edward were in there with them during the time, along with Fawn, Apple and herself. She tried to convince herself that the other three were okay, but it felt like the odds were stacked against them. Edward, despite being fucking brilliant, wasn’t physically strong in any sense of the word and could be overpowered easily. Neil had his hypnotic voice, but with the shock collar the staff put on him he couldn’t sing any high notes and if he did he would get a strong jolt from the collar. Fawn was quick and wryly, so maybe she had a good chance of getting out safely. Overall it seemed that most of the people she knew the best and felt the safest around might still be in there, or worse. As they approached the large metal doors of her hide out Rachael ceased to ponder about her lost acquaintances and pulled up on the latch and opened the doors to their shelter.
It had begun to rain. Wonderful... If trying to crawl through the drainage pipe wasn’t hard enough it sure was a lot more difficult with all the extra water flowing through it. Apple had come to get Rachael after her fight with Killer Croc and they both made their way into the water drain that Apple had found. It was slightly bigger than the air vent, but with the water it felt smaller. They soon came to an opening in the pipe that lead to the main water drain system that transversed all throughout Gotham. They both jumped down from the previous pipe and were now able to walk on dry concrete along the flowing water.
Rachael still had a hard time walking after getting bit by Croc and she needed Apple to help support her and get her down from the pipe until the Splinters came back. And even then she would have to deal with the withdraw symptoms that came with the drugs wearing off, which was never a fun process. She always gets so itchy and hot and her temper becomes very short. If only they had fallen into the medical wing, then Rachael could have grabbed the medication she was on and find a way to separate the represent from the addictive part. At least then she wouldn’t be quitting cold turkey and could slowly ween herself off the addiction. But at the moment they needed to find a place where they can hide and where the walls were sturdy so Rachael could scratch and claw at them to alleviate some of the pain and discomfort of the withdraw.
“Hey. This might be the best, if only time to ask this. Where exactly are we going to go anyway? I honestly didn’t think we would be able to get out of Arkham let alone mostly in one piece and once my medication wears off your gonna be in slight danger.”
