Apple's lack of expressions bothered me greatly - I tried to fix it by experimenting with drawing memes and such. I feel she was very expressive in her teens but became rather serious as a young adult. She lost her grandparents and had to live with father who didn't care much of her and heavily required her to respect him.

Her hair is also mystery to me, cannot desite what it should look like in different times in her life.

Fun fact about Apple, she got her first glasses over her twenties. The shock of seeing everything was quite a shock!

Sketches of Apple's clothes. She wears a suit at work, its part of the protocol and she doesn't care for it. Normally she adores colorful clothes with bizarre patterns and she doesn't care do they mach at all. This must make her artistic / stylistic friends crazy...or crazier from their everyday madness.

I need to be crazier with thw colors in her clothes! They need to be FREAKY and I went with safe colors but I used a good while to think what colours work well with each others. Apple wouldn't care, she just want to be comfortable VuV

Also have COWBOY APPLE! Which one you prefer, the jacket or the poncho on her?

This is western AU, Apple lives with her father side of family full of bandits but they have dusty heart full of cat gold. Normal version Apple has very infected relationship with her father - in this AU their bond is healthier and somewhat respectful. She still trust her uncle Tom more than her father Jerry.

Western hasn't been my favourite genre but suddenly I have felt very nostalgic over Lucky Luke comics and Bravestarr cartoon. Lucky Luke had likable characters and some of those represented IRL historical people and their lifes which I still find very interesting. Bravestarr in other hand didn't have strong storyrelling but it had perfect aesthetic - scifi western with dark magic and spirituality. Cowboy AU possible happens in that kind of environment, Apple hear voices because of a curse and I love scifi western combo.

+ I got inspired by art of @zapgraptrash . Their ocs and art are awesome and it's always makes me happy to see their art on my dash! Go check their art, it's crazy in the best way possible!
