#novvinylchallenge day 06 - artist that has changed the most: daughters • i’ll never forget—at the recommendation of a kid i went to high school with named joe—buying “canada songs” on CD (3” foil pressed in a standard 5” CD) at barnes and noble before immediately seeing the horrible dawn of the dead remake. after the movie, i popped the CD into my car to listen to while driving friends home, and they all immediately went “what the FUCK IS THIS?!” then i saw them at beat kitchen in 2006 (unfortunately on a first date that was the beginning of a four-plus-year abusive relationship), but i got to reclaim that experience by seeing them last fall at the same venue. to say i love this band would be a vast understatement. they have mutated and transformed in so many ways over the years, much like myself. @asfmarshall & @daughters.official are woven into the fabric of my being in a way that is irremovable, and for that i’m thankful. • #daughtersband #vinyl https://www.instagram.com/p/B4jUZ0AFPc4/?igshid=5kwxwsnmz08
