ah, those shades. ever the topic of conversation for the blond swordsman, surely, but the ghost is very interested in them.

the way of human fashion is essentially lost on them. when they spy the teen’s face, the dark tints covering his eyes, the ghost is initially convinced that they are the other’s eyes. simply that. yet not so simply - no, not at all - for they have seen their siblings and themself and large, black shields on the face is somewhat characteristic of vessels.

their kin are always something the knight is concerned with. if there is any possibility that the blond may be connected to hallownest, it is worth investigating.

the message is typed up on their cell phone as they approach. typing itself is difficult and their claws have begun to scratch the sensitive touch-screen of the device. nevertheless, they provide a some-what coherent question, holding the phone as high as their short arms allow, hoping to catch the teen’s attention.

By now, and certainly of no consequence to his earlier interaction with one Strider, Hanzo has acquired some more ... sensible clothing. Perhaps not fully fashionable, unfortunately, as Hanzo does not boast the best sense of fashion. In fact, he may look a bit awkward sitting silently on a bench outside of a subway entrance, dressed in jeans, sneakers, and a hoodie.

(Yes, he hates it, but it is what he could afford.)

The archer merely minds his business, caught somewhere between people-watching and waiting for the next train, when a breeze picks up. He barely blinks at the wind, but does when something smacks his arm with a weak thwap.

A leaf of a newspaper. Upon inspection, Hanzo finds a few coupons on the paper, one for a nearby pizza parlor.
