Okay I'm back with three oddly specific questions for the Yakuza AU, that I haven't been thinking of for an absurd amount of time and that I'm completely normal about and didn't write at one in the morning :3
1. Would Alpha Dave ever marry off his younger sisters? Arranged marriages happened for like strategic alliances purposes in between different gangs. But to admit how does Alpha Dave feel about the idea of his younger sisters getting married just in general? I have a feeling Alpha Dave would wake up in a cold sweat in the middle of night, on the verge of having a heart attack, after dreaming of any of his younger sisters getting married.
2. How is Sis Gyaru? You mentioned when she wasn't "all dolled up" she'd dress in Gyaru, BUT at the time of mid 1980's Japan Gyaru kinda didn't really exist?? BUT at the time of the mid to late 1980's Bodikon existed which was basically the predecessor to Gyaru which would technically make Sis a Gyaru. But if your not going time accurate what type of Gyaru would Sis be? My guesses are ganguro or manba.
3. How do the younger siblings feel about their extracurriculars? Plus how do they fit into their schedule? Is it just after school? Is it all week including weekends? What about on holidays? The kids have like two to four extracurriculars each(?) Do they like switch to other extracurriculars during the week or do one curcurricular each week then switch back??

1. Oh yeah, he very much doesn't want to do that and Lady Alpha Dave keeps begging him to not do them the same thing he did to her, ergo keep her hanging along. To the outside viewer she's an embarrassing old maid with nothing going for her that would justify being unmarried and childless at that age BUT she also acts like Alpha Dave's wife (strange!) and gets involved with the yakuza affairs (not a woman's business, also strange!) The day she finally puts together their little sisters' dating portfolios is the day Alpha Dave gets drunk and lays on the floor listening to enka all night. I feel like any potential spouse would have a target on his back...
Nevertheless Alpha Dave keeps cultivating the girls with skills and hobbies that would make them valuable on the marriage market. ...but you know, he likes a well-cultured and traditional woman.
2. Goddammit, you're so much more diligent about my AU than I am...... I do have some deliberate anachronisms and anime logic in there just for the vibes, like seifuku for high schoolers and not necessarily period accurate kimono. To my understanding the whole bleach blonde, strong make-up and sexy, western style clothes and the subversion of japanese beauty standards thing has been around before gyaru was coined as a term and got popular, but yes, gyaru is more of a 90's-2000's thing. I could see Sis do ganguro/manba, but I was thinking more towards kogal. :] Sis' character has changed a bit over time, I ended up making her way younger than I first intended. She's 26 (and thus is still within her right to wear a furisode!), but her original "joke" was to be well over 30 and still embarrassingly dress like a rebellious teenager. Bodikon would work for her too. Maybe I'll fix this anachronism. ;] ...but I'll still have sweet little Davette doing kogal because it's cute and she's a rich bitch. >>
3. Yeah bruh I don't know, they're not necessarily doing everything all the time nor supposed to be masters of anything, more like get a wide feel over several hobbies and eventually pick what they like the best to keep working at. Some are extracurriculars and some private tutoring at home or at sensei's home. Dave likes shredding on shamisen, but he's not very good at singing. Davette prefers making tea. Dirkette likes archery and Dirk prefers swordplay, but both of them kinda liked doing flower arrangement too and Dirkette would like to try dance. None of them necessarily have a kimono hobby, it's just a required part of their image.
The kids can't gamble yet, but they may have a sip of sake. Everyone in this room wishes to know the phoenix carnally.
I finally got around to expanding the Yakuza AU a bit. Originally I just wanted to show off Alpha Dave's tattoos, but he looked so lonely so I added, like, everyone else there. :'D Not pictured: Sis, also topless.
Greetings, first of all, I love your work, it's absolutely wonderful, second, I would like to ask your feelings regarding someone writing a fanfic inspired by one of your ideas?, several months ago you described a noncon idea between Dirk and Dirkette (idea which is still in Pillowfort) and it fascinated me enough that I would like to write a fic with the same idea, probably the characters will not be the same (but it will be dersecest).

People have asked this question several times before, but never deliver… ":D" It's nice to see stuff inspired by my stuff, even if it might not end up to be my cup of tea. It's still inspiration, babey! I'd be intrigued to see what you come up with, especially if you keep it Dersecest. :]
Thanks for giving me a little push to get back to this miserable AU, I've wanted to make additional content for it from the moment I originally posted it, so here's at least some busts of Dirk&Dirkette. Love me a wretched man and easily overpowered little lady. :9
Someone asked me a long, long time ago how I draw characters that look related. Well, here it is, the younger and older selves of everyone included. The matching hair does a lot, but I also mix and match the same facial features on all.
Dave and Rose both resemble much more their opposite sex parent. Dave has those sweet, round eyes with lashes pointing down, the same as Roxy. Rose has narrow, piercing eyes that point upwards, just like Bro’s. And Bro would have just as cute, sharp nose as Dirk if it wasn’t broken somewhere in his youth. The girls sharing more Dirk’s genetics have a rather small bust, but those sharing Roxy’s have a bit bigger one. Mom herself has that MILF fat on her, Lady Alpha Dave in turn has had a bit of work done. The bit that doesn’t really make sense is that Roxy, Dirkette and Sis have very full lips, yet their offspring Rose and Davette have thin ones. Ah well.
Other important notes: Alpha Rose the friendly neighborhood Vampira. Mom’s eyes are just as sweet and round as her younger self’s if she wasn’t perpetually giving the bedroom eyes. Dirkette clearly doesn’t brush her hair. Bro please put a shirt on.
