A couple days ago I started to put some of my favorite Davenzi fics together and then thought, well why not share it here? But while I'm at it I want to thank each and every writer out there, yall are legends and fandoms would be lame as hell if it wasn't for you guys, all of you 🧡

A Fatal Error Has Occured: Lil Hal/Dirk. Yeowch. It goes downhill once Dirk finally comes clean. Fucking nice illustrations in chapter add to distress. Incomplete.
*A Lively Mating Jig: Dave/Karkat. Second part to Siren from a Distant Shore. Can be read alone, but why? Why would you do that? Lovely worldbuilding featuring several different alien species and one very determinedly hopeful Karkat.
A Thousand Years: Dirk/Jake. Nah. I’ll let the busted up remains of my pump biscuit do the talking for me here. The author has lotsa nice fics for this couple. All of them contain very elegant diction. Those metaphors are world class.
*Age/Sex/Location: John/Dave. Mute!Dave. Super cute. Read it for the d’aaaws.
*Battlefield Terra: John/Karkat. Asuka is an amazing writer. Completely badass AU, with giant robots fighting off an alien invasion. Tons of interpersonal conflict tangled up in twisted political web. Guh, so gorgeous. Incomplete.
Before I Sleep: Dolorosa/Suffer, but mostly gen. Sadstuck of epic proportions, but such a nice build up, and petstuck is such an intriguing au to read.
BL4CK HOL3, green 2un: Terezi/Sollux, mostly platonic. Read right after Act 5 for maximum pain! Yay! Then read the sequel. More yay!
*Brainbent: Gen. Touches on a lot of triggery things, but it’s worth it to read our favorite characters struggling with some well researched afflictions. That said, the authors also post some nice real life tips’n’tricks from time to time. Incomplete.
By Ways I Have Not Known: Sollux/Karkat, some Karkat/Gamzee, some Sollux/Rose. The AU where Sollux stayed on the fucking meteor, goddammit, I wish. It’s sad watching Sollux deal with separating from Aradia yet a-fucking-gain.
*California Dreaming: Eridan/Equius. While it’s set in the same ‘verse as Space Bro, it’s not necessary to read the latter. Heartwarming look into Equius’ POV, which is always a treat.
Common Ground: Jade/Karkat, a dash of Terezi/Karkat and Terezi/Dave. Lots of good things about Pacific Rim AU’s, but mostly the Drift. I’m gonna rec this one by virtue of a heartachingly good version of Kankri. He grows on you. The kickass robots are pretty sweet too.
Cooking with Karkat: Dave/Karkat. Meteorstuck. Mostly shameless fluff of the highest order. Great characterization of Dave, with nice rambly metaphors and funny macklemore’n’cheese recipe. Incomplete.
Cyberbunny Apocalypse ‘Verse: Lil Hal/Lil Seb, not romancy. Glorious set up and eventual features from the Beforian trolls. Plenty of action and angst. Hell fucking yeah. Incomplete.
*Dave: Surrender Maidenhood: Terezi/Dave. What it says on the tin, but a thousand times more satisfying.
The Entire City Was Silent: John/Dave, Jade/Dave, Dirk/Jake. 100k of delicious Demon AU, with special appearances from the Dolorosa and Lord English. It’s emotional roller coaster is pretty fucking steep, though, proceed with caution.
*Everything is Alright: Sollux/Karkat, Kanaya/Karkat, Sollux/Kanaya. Probably a pre SGRUB fic, focusing in on some cool xenoculture shit and the positive relationships crisscrossing these three trolls. Fuck I love all three of them.
The Family You Choose: Karkat/Gamzee, Davesprite/Karkat, and a slew of other ship hints, like Terezi/Dave and John/Roxy. A feel good series, where everyone’s coping with the fallout of The Game by moving to Jade and Jake’s island. Culture clashes and emotional storms abounds! Also: pirates.
*Halve at Me: Aradia/Sollux. Really sexy smut, with illustration. Incomplete. Wweh.
*The Highlights of Being a Split-End: Dave/Karkat. So freaking adorable. Hurt and comfort, and a really nice pick me up for a bad day. Also comes with a *sequel that contains even more silliness and fluff! Well characterized silliness and fluff! And smut.
In Shitty Sidequest Veritas: Terezi/Dave. oHMYGDO. Beautifully illustrated and fucking ouchy as fuck, placed first back in HSO’11, back before I was introduced to homestuck, I feel like a fucking archeologist with this shit.
*June Story: Davesprite/John. I did not expect to read an egglaying mpreg fic, and yet here we are. Makes me sad, thinking about poor ole Davesprite.
Last Hearing of Gamzee Makara: Terezi/Gamzee, with some smattering of Karkat/Gamzee, Terezi/Dave, and Terezi/Karkat. Sequel to BL4CK HOL3, green 2un. Meteorstuck up the wazoo with beautiful characterization and cry moments.
Marvelous Things: John/Dave. Well executed and hard hitting after SBURB tale. I’m pretty sure everyone’s read it? Also *sequel. But this a great time to rec all of jumpingjackflash’s shit, because boy is it quality.
Memory Book: Terezi/Dave, pale style instead of pail style. Just a lot of these two bonding, and Dave trusting her with his life’s story.
*Midnight on the Demon Patrol: Dave/Karkat. Really friggin’ cool concept married to lovingly done character interaction, including Knight!feels, Vantas!feels, all the feels. Incomplete.
Mirrors for Princes: Strilonde feels all up in this biz, mainly a study in Rose/Dirk, but some romantic Dave/Rose too. Holy hell, this kicked in my teeth for want of the TT’s.
*(Never) What You Wanted: John/Dave. Alternatively titled Asshole!John AU. It’s not really all on John’s shoulders. There’s a huge lack of communication but also lotsa hot sex and unspoken feelings. Incomplete.
Off the Handle: Dave/Karkat. Parkourstuck, and fuck me if the set up isn’t something tasty. Incomplete.
One of Our Submarines: Gen, as in not a shipper fic, but there’s some Terezi/Karkat and leanings toward Sollux/Eridan. But like I said! This isn’t a shipper fic. It’s a helmsman fic, and by God does it hit a lot of yesmore buttons. The part where Tavros talks to Sollux… gtfo. Get out your hex/binary translator, because the Psiioniic speaks in code. Incomplete.
Packstuck: Jade/Dave. Fuckin’ feels from the second fic in the series, but the first fic promises much demon!dog clusterfuck action. Incomplete.
*Party on Our Own: Aradia/Sollux/Tavros, a pale and red romance. Part of the *Imperial Pop Star series (Incomplete), which features Karkat/Amporas, which is all well and good. This particular fic was really sweet while being extremely hot.
*People Don’t Do That: Alpha!Dave/Dirk. Simultaneously one of the hottest and saddest fics I’ve ever read. All of the Dave/Dirk work by that author manages to be confusingly hot while delivering a payload of feels right to your soft parts.
Rainbow Rumpus Feelings Jam: Rose/Kanaya/Vriska/Terezi. Oh the things Pesterchum has seen. I thirst for more.
Seam by Seam: Rose/Kanaya, Kanaya/Vriska. A human on Alternia AU, featuring lovely ladies! Nngnn. Kanaya. Rose. Bluuuuh! Great characterization and subtle shifts in relationship.
Serendipity Gospels: Here’s to the Terezi/Gamzee/Karkat clusterfuck. Like I even need to tell you. Incomplete.
Silence is Golden: John/Dave, Dirk/Jake, and Rose/Kanaya. Mute!John tossed into a nonSBURB AU. Ranges from angsty to pure unfiltered sweetness.
Siren from a Distant Shore: Rose/Tavros. Completely blindsided by this pairing, but what canya do? This is the first fic of a larger series that I absolutely reccommend for its complex worldbuilding and heartbreaking feeeels. You know what? The whole Traverse series is pretty fucking brilliant.
*Sleepsong: Sollux/Dave, Dave/Rose, but also Aradia/Sollux. Troll AU that breaks you into lil bitty pieces before putting ‘em back together and then comes at you with a warhammer. Interesting implications at the end. Incomplete?
*Space Bro: Sollux/Karkat. Post SBURB in which everyone forgets, but one. Welp, I cried like a weenie during the car scene.
*Strider’s Edge: Gen, although mentions of John/Dave, John/Vriska, and Dave/Rose should spark interest, yes? The romance takes a back seat to the shenanigans these characters get up to. I could tentatively call this a Great Gatsby AU and maybe that’d give you some idea to what to expect, although I doubt it. Great fic, though. I cried.
*Tonight Alone: Dirk/Jake, tentatively one-sided. This attempted phonesex manages to be more pitiful than most.
The Vienna Game: Terezi/Sollux, but also! Terezi/Dave and Sollux/Rose. A wonderful au, chock full of little in jokes and, just, really fantastic writing combined with a cool concept. Paratactian is actually just winning at all the fics, so read the rest of his stuff too.
*We Used to Play Outside When We Were Young: Terezi/Sollux. I really love these two assholes together. Pretty intense kinks you got there, Sollux. Lucky Terezi's indulgent.
The White House: Rose/Kanaya. Date night, with a cute little bit of quadrant confusion, but they like each other so much.
You Get All Sorts: Equius/Eridan. From the author of the Traverse series. A nonSGRUB AU that has Equius working under Eridan in some distant outpost. Things getting hella shady as side characters plot and a mcguffin is uncovered. Incomplete.
*2x2: Karkat/John/Sollux/Dave. The lure of polyamory, it beckons. A post SBURB AU cleverly disguised as a college AU. Incomplete.
